It just happened again.

We received a beautiful card from one of our regular charities, inviting us to an open house. On the front and inside cover were gorgeous pictures and a story of a client family that had been forever changed by the agency’s work. Hand signed by three top leaders, the mission statement and an explanation of services were notably listed at the bottom of the card.… Read the rest

Let’s start this out by saying that I’m very much an individual wood-piler. I like to get stuff done, to feed my introvert tendencies, and be accountable to myself. Dirty hands are a great thing! Today we will wrap up our conversation with the organizers of Hockey Day Minnesota 2019, hosted in Bemidji on January 17-19. We’ll hear about the impact of HDM2019, both for the community and the people involved in putting it together! There’s also a lot of great advice for other communities looking to host this or other large events.
